Bristol 92, Meriden 87: The local squad placed first in every event against the Maloney/Platt co-op team to earn its first CCC South victory of the season.

Three swimmers won two individual events each for Bristol: Zach Zupka, 200 freestyle in 2:07.49 and 100 freestyle in 56.91; Mike Petit, 200 individual medley in 2:20.24 and 100 breaststroke in 1:15.10; and Jimmy Martin, 50 freestyle in 21.98 and 100 butterfly in 54.26.

Also winning individual events for Bristol (6-3, 1-1 CCC South) were Brandon Brooks (diving, 158.70), Lionel Gray (500 freestyle in a personal-best 5:39.16) and David Jalbert (100 backstroke, 1:09.19).

Bristol also swept the relay events. Josh Neal, Kyrell Clemons, Tim Jalbert and Ethan Deal took the 200 medley in 1:59.45; Devon Walker, Deal, Zupka and Martin won the 200 freestyle in 1:39.01; and Gray, Zupka, Walker, Martin won the 400 freestyle in 3:52.76.

In other highlights, Tim Jalbert broke a minute in the 100 butterfly for the first time, touching in second place at 59.67; and Rachel Andrews set a personal best with a time of 1:19.22 in the 100 breaststroke.
